The newly approved lists update an earlier decision on the lists, which was signed by the PM in July 2010, with supplemented technologies and products and remove outdated ones to respond to the hi-tech development trend in the country and in the world.

Accordingly, from January 15, 2015, 58 high technologies and 114 hi-tech products will be encouraged to develop.

The prioritized high technologies involve integrated circuit designing and manufacturing; artificial intelligence; flexible electronics; aviation-space science; robot designing and manufacturing; extraction technology in ultrapure production at an industrial scale and nanomaterial.

The encouraged hi-tech products comprise high-level network and information security softwares; smart cards and smart card readers; smart home device systems; intelligent traffic controlsystems; automatic and synchronized test systems; satellites and satellite equipment.
