The spreading financial crisis is causing negative impacts on Việt Nam’s economy, especially in the fields of export, tourism, services and stock market.
So, the Government members had thorough discussions on measures to promote production, stimulate export and consumption.
The Government chief analyzed and stressed five major solutions to prevent economic recession.
First, to boost up production and export, abrogate all troublesome procedures, minimize time and costs spent by enterprises, and promote the production of high-turnover export;
Second, to stimulate investment and consumption, build more housings for low-income people, social policy beneficiaries, employees in economic zones and concentrated industrial parks, and students;
Third, to adopt flexible monetary and financial policies;
Fourth, to ensure social security, especially disadvantaged, remote and natural calamity-hit areas;
Fifth, to organize and direct the work in a dynamic and drastic manner, promote information work to raise people’s awareness of difficulties and join hands in the common cause.
