PM meets Chinese legislature chief
VGP – Continuing his Chinese tour, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng today, October 23, had a meeting with Mr. Wu Bangguo, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPCSC).
| Mr. Wu Bangguo asserted that the Chinese Party, Government and people place great importance on the cooperation and friendship with Việt Nam, showing his confidence that the Vietnamese PM’s visit, especially the common awareness gained during his meetings and talks with General Secretary-President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao, would pay the way for the further development of the strategic partnership of comprehensive cooperation between the two parties and two countries. PM Dũng stressed that the development of the strategic partnership between Việt Nam and China is the fundamental interest and common aspiration of the two peoples. He stated that such a relationship would consolidate and strengthen the traditional friendship built by President Hồ Chí Minh and President Mao Zedong as well as many generations of leaders and people of the two countries generations. He expressed his hope that the two sides could well work together in realizing the agreements made by the two Party chiefs and important solutions gained during this visit. By Xuân Hồng |
