Environment preservation is the common responsibility of the whole society

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment was asked to reinforce supervision and inspection, impose tough penalties against any infringement of environment laws, especially those in investment projects, industrial parks, processing zones, and handicraft villages.

The Ministry of Public Security is responsible to carry out preventive measures, discover and deal with illegal cross-border transport of wastes, radioactive substance, forestry products, and precious wild animals.

The PM also required that it is necessary to engage all walks of life into environment protection activities.

All producers, enterprises and services suppliers who have no waste-treating facilities will be suspended from operation.

The Government chief also ordered to check the import of machinery, equipment and manufacturing lines in order to get rid of out-of date ones and pollutants.
