PM ratifies some foreign-funded projects
VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng today ratified some portfolios on assisting water resources management, on sustainable management of mangrove ecology in Bạc Liêu Province, and on gender equality, funded by France, Germany and United Nations respectively.
Specifically, France will offer a non-refundable aid of € 1.2 million to assist the Ministry of Resources and Environment to pilot the technical assistance project on water resources management in the Đồng Nai River basin. Meanwhile, Germany will finance € 1.6 million to the southern province of Bạc Liêu to manage its mangroves in a sustainable way. Moreover, the Government chief also gave nod to the Project on improving HIV/AIDS supervision and testing in Việt Nam in the period of 2005-2010, phase 3 (2008-2010). This project, worth of US $1.3 million, is funded by the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). By Hải Minh |
