PM Dũng expressed his delight to witness the progresses in the Việt Nam-RoK strategic partnership while receiving the RoK’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Yu Myung Hwan.
Mr. Dũng also extolled the East Asian country for its ODA provision to Việt Nam and hoped to seek further assistance in education. The Vietnamese Government chief was convinced that the fine bilateral ties will be developed in all fields and at all levels.
Việt Nam welcomes and pledges to create favorable conditions for Korean investors and suggests the RoK to closely work with ten ASEAN members to realize the ASEAN-Korean Free Trade Area (AKFTA) Framework.

Receiving Mr. Pak Ui Chun, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng underlined that the Party and Government of Việt Nam always treasure and hope to boost the traditional ties with the DPRK.
Việt Nam, said Mr. Dũng, stands for peace, stability and a Non-Nuclear Korean Peninsula and backs negotiations there, including the six-party talks.
Việt Nam objects threats to use weapons in international relations and welcomes any attempt from the concerned parties to settle the disputes via peaceful talks and exercise self-restraint from any action which may impact peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula.
For his part, the DPRK Minister reaffirmed that he would make positive contribution to nurturing the friendly ties and traditional cooperation between the two countries.

At his reception to Japanese FM Okada Katsuya, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng held that the Việt Nam-Japan strategic partnership has positively developed.
The Government chief took this occasion to laud the cooperation and effective assistance of Japan for Việt Nam’s socio-economic development and integration into the global market.
The Japanese Government, said Mr. Okada Katsuya, always attaches importance to expanding all-around relations with Việt Nam and spares no effort to coordinate with Vietnamese agencies and localities to realize the signed agreements.
In the year of 2010, there are wide doors for Japan, the President of APEC, and Việt Nam, the Chair of ASEAN, to take joint actions in solving regional and global issues./.
