PM welcomes RoK’s legislator

VGP – Viet Nam expects to enhance the Strategic Partnership with the Republic of Korea (RoK) across politics-diplomacy, economics, trade, investment, tourism, labor, science-technology, education-training, national defense and security and strive to raise the two-way trade turnover to US$70 billion before 2020.

Welcoming Ahn Sang-soo, member of the RoK’s National Assembly (NA), on May 19, PM Nguyen Tan Dung hailed Viet Nam-RoK Strategic Partnership in all fields, especially the recent signing of the Viet Nam-RoK Free Trade Agreement.

The PM proposed the RoK’s NA and Government consider receiving Vietnamese laborers and facilitate the Vietnamese community's efforts to stabilize their lives in the RoK.

For his side, Mr. Ahn Sang Soo asserted to make more contribution to the two nations’ relationship, expecting that the FTA will open a new chapter in the two sides’ relations.

He will encourage the RoK’s businesses to pour more investment in Viet Nam and propose measures to help the Vietnamese integrate into the RoK’s society.
