Party, State, Gov’t leaders pay Tết visits to people
VNGOP – In recent days, leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly and Government have visited many localities on the occasion of the upcoming traditional New Year Festival.
| On February 03, Party General Secretary Nông Đức Mạnh visited to the Voice of Việt Nam. On the same day, State President Nguyễn Minh Triết paid Tết visits to some army and police units in Hà Nội. National Assembly Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng also visited the central province of Nghệ An for two days (February 2-3). | | | Party chief Nông Đức Mạnh: VOV must represent Việt Nam’s culture and spirit | In his meetings with revolutionists and senior leaders of the two provinces of Đắk Lắk (February 2) and Đắk Nông (February 3) during his Tết working visit to the Central Highlands, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng extended his congratulations and greetings to all locals and urged the local authorities to focus on constructing infrastructure, training human resource, and maintaining political security in order to fulfill the 2008 tasks. | | | PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng in the meeting with leaders of Đắk Nông | The PM asked the local leaders to ensure a happy and healthy Tết festival for people, especially poor and disadvantaged households, ethnic minorities, and habitants in remote areas.
