Queensland State wants a special relationship with VN

VNGOP – The visiting Minister for Transport, Trade, Employment and Industrial Relations of the Queensland State, Australia, Mr. John Mickel, had a meeting with PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on March 27.

Over the past time, the cooperation between Việt Nam’s ministries, agencies and localities and Queensland has been boosted in all fields. PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng emphasized that the two sides should focus on their potential fields.

Minister John Mickel proposed some fields for bilateral cooperation, such as mining, energy, aviation, and education. He was convinced that his working visit to Việt Nam will bring about good chances for the relationship between Queensland and Việt Nam.

After their meeting, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and Minister John Mickel witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of understanding under which the Việt Nam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group will invest in coal gasifying technology in Queensland/.
