Technology Renewal Committee members endorsed
VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has freshly named Deputy PM Nguyễn Thiện Nhân as Head of the National Steering Committee for renewing technology till 2020.
PM has also approved the names of 14 members of the steering board, which includes leaders of all related ministries and agencies.
The steering board will help the PM direct and regulate activities between related ministries, localities and organizations in building and mobilizing resources to carry out the program.
Besides, the board will also advise and propose directions, mechanism and policies to implement the program.

The PM ratified the program on May 10, 2011 with the aim of increasing the number of businesses renewing technology to 15% on average per year, 5% of which will apply high technology.
