During their working visit to Việt Nam from August 9 to 13, the delegation of the Cambodian Ministry of Land Management, Urbanization and Construction (MOLMUC), headed by Minister Im Chhun Lim, had working sessions with the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

MOLMUC and the competent ministries of Việt Nam thoroughly discussed specific programs on bilateral cooperation, said Minister Im Chhun Lim in his meeting with the Vietnamese PM.

The Vietnamese sides pledged to help Cambodia work out some legal documents on construction, natural resources, land management, the guest revealed.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng stated that the Government of Việt Nam always supports the bilateral agreements inked with Cambodia.

The Government will direct competent agencies to put these agreements into reality, emphasized the PM.

“Việt Nam wants to promote investment and trade cooperation and expects Cambodia to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to do business and investment there,” said PM Dũng.

Việt Nam is now planning some investment projects on rice export, fertilizer production, hydroelectricity, building materials, and petroleum in the neighbor country. So far, Vietnamese enterprises have succeeded in shaking hands with Cambodian partners in the fields of telecommunications, rubber planting, banking, insurance and aviation.
