PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng assigned the Ministry of Finance and the Việt Nam Red Cross to transfer the money to the US side.
Earlier, PM Dũng on April 29 sent his message of condolences to President Barak Obama over the US’s damages caused by dozens of tornadoes on April 27.
The tornadoes, the deadliest outbreak over the past 37 years, ripped through the South of the US, flattening homes and businesses and killing hundreds of people in six states.
