Under the newly-approved decree, if a company violates aviation regulations, the offending aircraft will be seized and the firm must arrange accommodations for the passengers and their luggage in accordance with the law.
The airplane will be released only after its manager has paid all the expenses arising from the period when the craft was grounded.
The company must contact the Việt Nam Civil Aviation Administration within 60 days since the announcement about the captured airplane was made in the media, and a tribunal will resolve the case.
The decree will come into effect on February 24./.
