The information is part of a VND411,7 billion (US$19 million) scheme on providing TV and radio services on Internet for OV in the 2015-2020 period, which has been approved by PM Nguyen Tan Dung.

The communication channels will be on air based on Internet TV technology on the web, TV and mobile devices. It is expected to serve one million users daily and 200,000 users at a time on different devices.

The scheme stated three major tasks: providing Internet TV and radio services for OV, producing quality TV and radio programmes for OV, and evaluating and examining the services’ provision.

he scheme also calls for improvements in editing and producing programs communicating achievements in the renewal process, policies and laws of Viet Nam, as well as information about economic and external affairs, foreign investment attraction, trade promotion, tourism and international integration of the country./.
