The Committee will be headed by Deputy PM Nguyễn Xuân Phúc, who will be aided by Deputy Foreign Minister Phạm Quang Vinh as the Vice Chairman.

The Committee’s members include Deputy Minister of Defense Nguyễn Chí Vịnh, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tô Lâm, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Cao Viết Sinh, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Trần Quang Quý, Deputy Minister of Culture-Sports-Tourism Huỳnh Vĩnh Ái, and President of the Việt Nam Union of Friendship Organizations Vũ Xuân Hồng.

The Committee is responsible for organizing activities to celebrate the Việt Nam-Cambodia Friendship Year 2012.
