Welcoming participants to the forum, the Vietnamese PM asserted that their presence at the event shows their interest in the blooming trade and investment ties between Việt Nam and UAE.
He considered the forum a practical activities and good chance for enterprises of the two countries to share information and seek for partners and business opportunities.
| In recent years, the cooperation between Việt Nam and UAE has been flourishing in various fields. The two-way trade turnover rapidly increased from US $67 million in 2002 to over US $550 million last years. UAE is now one of Việt Nam’s 25 major export markets and is going to rank itself in the top-ten list. Investors from UAE are fruitfully doing business throughout Việt Nam, with many large-scale projects. |
He briefed his meeting with the host President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his talks with Vice President, PM Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during which the leaders agreed on measures to boost up trade and investment cooperation.
A number of newly-inked agreements will create an important motive force for the Việt Nam-UAE relationship to develop to a new height, said PM Dũng.
The PM introduced Việt Nam’s strengths and advantages which can be exploited in business and investment activities and called on the host enterprises to jump into the country’s potential fields, such as building highways, seaports, airports, petroleum industry, tourism, agriculture, finance and banking, and labor.

The Vietnamese Government pledged to offer most favorable conditions and policies for investors from UAE to do business in Việt Nam, PM Dũng stated.

On the same day, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng met leaders of Limitless Company, one of UAE’s leading seaport enterprises who is doing investment in Việt Nam.
He showed his pleasures at the company’s performance in Việt Nam, with projects on the Hiệp Phước Port in Hồ Chí Minh City, a five-star hotel in Hạ Long Star, and an economic project in Hải Phòng.
