PM holds talks with EC President

ASEAN + 3 and ASEAN +1 Summits: Cooperation and assistance to narrow development gaps
VNGOP – ASEAN + 3 Summit with China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (RoK) and ASEAN + 1 Summit with China were summoned on November 20 in Singapore. At the summits, the leaders agreed to found the ASEAN + 3 Cooperation Fund to implement activities and projects aimed at the construction of the East Asian Community.

VNGOP – The 13th ASEAN Summit was solemnly opened this morning, November 20, in Singapore, with the attendance of leaders of all ASEAN members.
PM meets Chinese counterpart at ASEAN Summit
VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng had a meeting in the morning of November 19 with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao while attending the 13th ASEAN Summit and the ASEAN–China Summit held in Singapore. The two leaders thoroughly discussed the economic and trade ties between the two countries and border issues.

VNGOP - PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has pledged to effectively utilise loans and aid provided by the World Bank (WB).
PM urges to promptly prevent floods and deal with their aftermaths
VNGOP – In an unscheduled meeting this morning, November 16 in Hà Nội, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng ordered ministries, ministerial agencies and local authorities in flood-ravaged Central Việt Nam to mobilize all resources in overcoming consequences caused by recent heavy rains and floods and promptly prevent the upcoming floods.
