VNGOP – In his report delivered at the opening second session of the 12th National Assembly on October 22, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng emphasized that, right in 2008 which is regarded as a very important year for the five-year socio-economic development plan 2006-2010, Việt Nam should do its utmost to reach an average income per capita of US$ 960, passing the threshold of a “low-income developing country.”
