PM extends condolences over Myanmar counterpart’s death
VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng visited the Myanmar Embassy in Hà Nội in the morning of October 15 to offer his condolences over the death of General Soe Win, PM of the Union of Myanmar.

On behalf of the Vietnamese Government and people, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng expressed his deep sympathy to the Government and people of Myanmar. He hoped that the good friendship between Việt Nam and Myanmar, which was considerably strengthened by PM Soe Win, will be further developed.
Earlier, on October 13, PM Dũng sent a message of condolences to Senior General Than Shwe, Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council of Myanmar and the family of General Soe Win who passed away on October 12 after a long illness./.
