VN eyes an advanced road traffic system by 2030
VGP – The Government chief has ratified a master plan on road traffic development in 2020 and visions toward 2030, targeting to meet demands for both cargo and passenger transportation in good quality, greater safety, and at reasonable prices.
Tobacco to be forbidden in indoor public places since 2010

VGP - The PM has just assigned ministries and agencies to simplify at least 30% of the regulations on administrative formalities after finishing the second phase (reviewing) of the Project on simplification of administrative procedures in State management fields in the period of 2007-2010 (Project 30).
Int’l cooperation enhanced in coping with oil overflowing
VGP - The PM ratified the plan to carry out the Joint Communiqué and the Framework Program between Việt Nam, Cambodia and Thailand for cooperation in coping with oil overflowing within the Gulf of Thailand in the period from 2009 to 2015.
VN to join Int’l Convention against Doping in Sport
VGP - The Vietnamese Government recently agreed a proposal suggested by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MoCST) for the country to join the UNESCO-initiated International Convention against Doping in Sport.
Int’l cooperation agreements approved
VGP – The PM today ratified the Framework Agreement on Cooperation signed on May 19, 2009 in Hà Nội between Việt Nam and the Central African Republic; and the Aviation Agreement inked with Canada in Montreal on September 28, 2004.
PM agrees on 1st overseas Vietnamese conference
VGP – Upon the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the PM agreed that the 1st Worldwide Conference for Overseas Vietnamese will be organized in Hà Nội.
