Climate change projects approved
VGP – The PM on December 30, 2011 approved the portfolio of the project “Climate Change Cooperation” which is financed by the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID).

VGP - The PM has assigned the Hà Nội People’s Committee to review and complete its socioeconomic development strategy till 2030 and a vision to 2050.
Import-export strategy to 2020 approved
VGP - According to the 2011 – 2020 goods import and export strategy, which has recently been approved by the PM, total export turnovers in 2020 will triple the 2010 figure, or over US $2,000 per capita.
96 firms receive national quality awards
VGP - The PM has decided to award 11 National Quality gold prizes and 85 silver prizes for 96 enterprises in recognition of their excellent production, business operation and service quality in 2011.
VN, NZ education cooperation draft pact approved
VGP- The PM has approved a draft agreement on education cooperation in the 2011 – 2014 period between the two Governments of Việt Nam and New Zealand.
