Gov’t chief starts activities in Pattaya

VGP – Right after landing Thailand’s Pattaya for ASEAN Summits, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng had a reception with leaders of the largest Thai business conglomerate on Friday.

Paying a courtesy visit to the Vietnamese PM, leaders of the Charoen Pokphand (CP) Group expressed their desire to expand investments in Việt Nam’s agriculture sector, especially developing husbandry, processing and exporting cattle and poultry products.

PM Dũng highly spoke of the Thai conglomerate’s performance in Việt Nam over the past time and lauded its plan to cooperate with the Việt Nam Agriculture and Rural Development Bank through a number of agriculture investment projects. He suggested CP engage in growing fruit plants in Việt Nam./.
