Gov’t members to inspect three big projects in localities

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng just assigned 20 leaders of ministries and sectors to directly go to localities throughout the country within April to check the realization of urgent solutions to rein in economic recession, maintain growth rate and ensure social security.

Each member of the Government will pay inspection visits to 2-4 provinces.

Inspections will focus on the economic stimulus; the program to assist job-losing workers and 61 poorest districts; and the Plan on simplifying administrative procedures in State management fields in the period of 2007-2010 (Plan 30).

Regarding the stimulus, the Government members will check up development investments and the realization of financial and monetary policies using the State credits to push up development.

They also consider the local authorities’ assessments on unemployment and recruitment demands as well as the related policies and measures.

To accelerate the Plan 30, the Government’s senior officials will review the listing of administrative procedures, the appointment of experts to the local administrative procedures reform task forces and facilitating their operations..

Results of the inspections will be collected and submitted to the PM before May 15.
