PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng starts activities in France tour

VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, Deputy PM, Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm and the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Government arrived in Paris in the afternoon of September 29 (local time), starting their official visit to the French Republic.

After the welcoming ceremony, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and his entourage visited an atomic power plant.

On September 30, PM separately received leaders of the Communist Party of France (CPF), the French Socialist Party (FSP), France-Việt Nam Friendship Society, and the Association of Việt Nam’s French Friends.

In the receptions, the Vietnamese PM expressed his pleasure at the traditional relationship between Việt Nam and France as well as between the Communist Party of Việt Nam and the CPF. The Vietnamese people are always grateful to the French people and friends for their supports to Việt Nam in the struggle for national salvation and the cause of national development, PM Dũng stressed.

The PM also stated that his official visit to France aims to strengthen the bilateral comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, especially in economy, trade, investment, culture, education, and science, for mutual benefits and the peace, stability, development and prosperity in the regions and the world.

In the afternoon of the day, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng laid a wreath at President Hồ Chí Minh’s Statue in the “Hồ Chí Minh Space” in Montreuil, Paris, visited the Vietnamese Embassy, and met representatives of the Vietnamese community in France./.
