PM asks Tuyên Quang to transform economic mechanism
VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng during his working visit to northern mountainous provinces on Friday has called upon Tuyên Quang to perform more effective in accelerating its agro-forestry production and in switching its production business strategy to follow a larger scale which focuses more on intensive farming, crop specialization and market-oriented processing and consumption.

However, Tuyên Quang still remains a poor province as the locals here have not made full use of the province’s its geo-economic competitiveness and potentials of natural resources and minerals. |  | | PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng suggests Tuyên Quang realize the overall scheme on socio-economic development, Tuyên Quang, August 14 – Photo : VGP | The PM agreed with the local authority to maintain 14% growth rate and to accelerate the economic restructuring toward industry and services in order to lift the province out of the poverty status. The Government leader also recommended Tuyên Quang to start deploying projects that can boost the overall performance of the province. The PM emphasized on the must development of technical infrastructure, adoption of the administrative reform, recruiting of both domestic and foreign investors to open more business, and protection of the environment. Meanwhile, the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Construction, Industry and Trade, Transport were assigned by the PM to solve pressing issues for better infrastructure, irrigation, transportation, and socio-economic development.
