PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng made the statement this morning during his working session with leaders of the people’s security forces on the occasion of the 64 th anniversary of the Vietnamese People’s Police (August 19. 1945).

Conveying his cordial regards to each and every policeman the Government chief emphasized that the Party and State always acknowledge great contributions made by the people’s police forces to the national construction and development.

The country is speeding up the cause of industrialization and modernization, so guaranteeing political stability and social order is a very important task to create a favorable environment for socio-economic development, highlighted PM Dũng.

The Government chief hoped that the people’s security forces would try their best to fulfill all missions.

Regarding some key tasks, PM Dũng said that the people’s security forces must consolidate their apparatus and edge their capacity to further maintain political security and protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
