PM meets Kazakh President
VGP – On the sideline of the Boao Forum for Asia, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng this afternoon had a meeting with President Nursultan Nazarbayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
| | | Photo: VGP | In the friendly and frank atmosphere, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen multifaceted cooperation for mutual benefit between Việt Nam and Kazakhstan in all fields. PM Dũng affirmed that, while following its diplomatic policy on diversifying and multilateralizing external ties, Việt Nam always places importance on the relations with its traditional friends, including Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan’s President showed his agreement with PM Dũng on potential for bilateral cooperation as well as on measures to raise the two-way trade turnover which stood at US $100 million in 2008.
