PM ratifies agreement with IFAD on agriculture
VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has recently approved an agreement with the International Foundation for Agriculture Development (IFAD) to enhance agriculture in Viet Nam.
Under the agreement, the international organization will provide financial assistance to a project on developing agriculture, rural areas and farmers in three provinces of Gia Lai, Ninh Thuận, and Tuyên Quang.
In Tuyên Quang alone, the project will be carried out in 64 communes of five districts in 2011-2015, with an aim to improve people’s living standard there.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy is assigned to ink the agreement with representative of the IFAD. The agreement was initialed on December 9, 2010 in Rome, Italy.
