PM receives Australian and Cuban Ambassadors

VPG – Government chief Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on September 3 had separate receptions with leaving Australian Ambassador Bill Twedell and newly-appointed Cuban Ambassador Fredesman Turro Gongalez.

Greeting Australian diplomat Bill Twedell, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng underscored that, besides furthering bilateral ties of economy, commerce and investment, Việt Nam still has aspiration to boost up cooperation in education and training with Australia, not only nurturing human resources but also raising mutual cultural understanding between the two peoples. The host also hoped that the Australian Government keeps supporting the 300,000-strong Vietnamese community in Australia.

In his meeting with Cuban Ambassador Fredesman Turro Gongalez, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng stated that, Việt Nam, by following its consistent policies, will continuously promote the special relationship with Cuba in all fields for the sake of two nations’ interests.

Cuban Ambassador Fredesman Turro Gongalez pledged to make every effort to enhance economic ties between the business communities. Concurrently, he hoped that Việt Nam will share its experience in planting food crops, especially wet rice, and processing food stuff.
