The delegations included foreign officials of national security and interior ministries, and security and police forces from China, Russia, Cuba and ASEAN and the leaders of ASEANAPOL and Interpol.

Welcoming all foreign delegates to Viet Nam, PM Dung lauded the developments in the multi-faced cooperative relations between Viet Nam and ASEAN, China, Russia, Cuba and other international organizations as well as the effective cooperation between Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and other nations’ security forces, police, ASEANPOL and Interpol.

The Vietnamese Government advocates and facilitates these cooperative activities, especially in combating trans-national crime, drug and human trafficking, cyber and terrorism, training personnel and sharing experience, asserted the PM.

On behalf of the delegates, Lao Minister of Public Security Somkeo Silavong hailed the contributions of Viet Nam’s public security to the national security and development.

He believed that the People’s Public Security Force will make greater contributions to the national development as well as expand relations and cooperation with foreign security, police, interior and intelligence agencies of countries and international organizations.
