PM tours in bauxite-alumina complex
VGP – Paying an inspection tour to the construction site of the bauxite–alumina complex in the Central Highlands province of Lâm Đồng, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng today asked the building units to guarantee the schedule while protecting the ecology and taking care of locals’ life.
|  | | PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng at the construction site of the bauxite–alumina complex, Lâm Đồng Province, August 18 – Photo: VGP | PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng made the emphasis that the complex is a keynote project marking the start-up of bauxite-alumina industry which is supposed to serve socio-economic development of the country in general and the Central Highlands in particular. The Government chief asked contractor Chalieco to strictly execute their commitments and observe the schedule. The project, equipped with modern technologies, can produce an annual output of 630,000 tons of alumina. |

All the houses, worth VND 87 million each, were financed by the Việt Nam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin). The Group plans to donate 15 houses more in the near future. |
