PM welcomes Chinese and German guests

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng had separate receptions in the morning of September 09 with Mr. Wang Yang, Party chief of China’s Guangdong Province, and Mr. Roland Koch, State Premier of Hesse (Germany).

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng asserted that the Việt Nam tour made by Guangdong governmental and business delegation would open new chances and prospects for the bilateral cooperation between Việt Nam and China in general and between Việt Nam’s ministries, sectors, localities and Guangdong in particular, in the interests and development of the two peoples.

The host stressed that Guangdong and Vietnamese partners should speed up the implementation of their cooperation agreements and work on new programs.

Mr. Wang Yang briefed PM Dũng the results of his working sessions with leaders of some Vietnamese ministries and agencies.

He hoped that the Vietnamese Government supports Guangdong to kick off the construction of an economic and commercial zone in Hải Phòng City and some mining projects. He suggested the establishment of a regular dialogue and information exchanging regime between Guangdong and Vietnamese partners.

Greeting State Premier of Hesse Roland Koch, PM Dũng stated that, over the past time, the cooperation between Việt Nam and Germany in general and with the State of Hesse in particular has vigorously advanced. Many investors from Hesse are doing business fruitfully in Việt Nam, such as Deutsche Bank and Sanofi-Aventis.

The Vietnamese PM appreciated Hesse’s and the guest’s supports to the construction of the Việt-Đức University in Hồ Chí Minh City, confirming that Việt Nam will do its best to make the project a great success.

Mr. Roland Koch revealed that, the State of Hesse wants to become an important partner of Việt Nam by expanding educational, economic, and trade cooperation with Vietnamese bodies and localities.
