Warmly welcoming the first visit made by Mr. Muhtar Kent, President and CEO of the US giant Coca-Cola on September 4 in Hồ Chí Minh City, PM Dũng highly remarked the world’s largest non-alcoholic beverage company for its effective business performance and social welfare programs over the past years.

Over the last 15 years, Coca-Cola has invested US $200 million in Việt Nam through three factories, generating 1,500 jobs, said Mr. Muhtar Kent, adding that Coca-Cola is planning to invest some additional US $200 million in the next three years.

Việt Nam will create more favorable conditions for American enterprises in general and Coca-Cola in particular doing business here, said the PM.

At the reception, PM Dũng also expressed his desire that the US will early grant the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) to Việt Nam.
