PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng meets President V.Putin – Photo: VNGOP

During his stay in Russia, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng laid a wreath at President Hồ Chí Minh’s Monument in Moscow. He had meeting with President V.Putin, held talks with Russian counterpart M. Fradkov, and received leaders of the Russian Parliament and the Russia- Việt Nam Friendship Association. He also met St. Petersburg Governor Valentina Matviyenko and attended the Russia Việt Nam Trade and Investment Promotion Forum.
In the meeting with President V.Putin, the two leaders discussed some specific solutions to consolidate and expand the multifaceted cooperation between Việt Nam and the Russian Federation in the spirit of strategic partnership in all fields.
After the Vietnamese PM’s visit to Russia, the two countries issued a joint communique .
This afternoon, September 12, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and his entourage left the Russian Federation for the two-day visit to the Czech Republic.
