Governor Chea Chanto reported to the host leader on the cooperation between NBC and the State Bank of Việt Nam (SBV) as well as the outcomes of his working visit.

Thanking Việt Nam’s assistance to Cambodia in various fields, the guest also highly spoked of SBV’s supports to NBC, especially in training human resource and debuting Cambodian branches.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng was pleased at the achievements obtained by Cambodia over the past years and the neighbor’s raised status on the international arena.

Lauding the effective cooperation between NBC and SBV, the Vietnamese PM stated that the inauguration of Vietnamese banking branches in Cambodia is a important premise to promote the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The host expressed his desire that the two banks will strengthen their cooperation, contributing the fulfillment of the governmental-level commitment of two-way trade turnover of US $2 billion by 2010.

Việt Nam always encourages its enterprises to do investment in Cambodia to further develop the good relationships between the two nations, said PM Dũng./.
