PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng highly appreciated Vietnamese Veteran Newspaper for its coodination with the veteran entrepreneurs and businesses in the initiative to hold this meeting. He hope that the newspaper will continue to have good and profound articles to encourage outstanding veterans to set their good examples in the daily life, and their active contribution to labour movement, to the study and production and business and to social activity. The PM also stressed that they have really played a role in moving the country out of the under-developed status.

Listening attentively to opinions and aspirations from a number of veteran entrepreneurs such as General Director Vũ Đức Giang of Vietnam Textiles & Garment Conglomerate, Chairman of the Management Board and General Director Lê Văn Kiểm of Long Thanh Golf Development Company; Chairman of the Management Board Hồ Huy of Mai Linh Taxi Company, the PM said he greatly rejoiced at their business successes and praised over 4,000 businesses nationwide with their heads as veterans for their active contribution to “doi moi”, to the poverty elimination schemes and to the assistance for families of the war invalids and the fallen soldiers.

After analyzing reasons for the socio-economic successes of the country, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng advised the veteran entrepreneurs and businesses to grasp the opportunities and enhance the fine tradition of Uncle Hồ’s soldiers in their production and business activity. He has also encouraged them to play an even more active role in social activity, in eliminating poverty.
