Technology Renewal Committee members endorsed

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has freshly named Deputy PM Nguyễn Thiện Nhân as Head of  the National Steering Committee for renewing technology till 2020.

Statistics development strategy approved

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has ratified the Statistics Development Strategy for 2011-2020 with a vision towards 2030 to advance the sector in line with regional standards. 

VN to host cooperative meeting with WB  

VGP – The Prime Minister has allowed the State Bank of Việt Nam (SBV) to play the host of  a Meeting on Cooperative Relationship between Việt Nam and the World Bank (WB).  

US to fund wind power development in Mekong Delta

VGP – The Government has allowed the Việt Nam Development Bank to sign the Letter of commitment regarding a credit loan with the US Export-Import Bank for a wind power program in the Mekong Delta.

State to hold majority stake in five telecom enterprises

GP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has signed Decision 55/2011/QĐ-TTg listing the number of State-owned telecom enterprises that the State will hold the majority stake.

PM ratifies Germany-funded forest project

HCM metro line 2 second phase approved

VGP – The Prime Minister has approved a Project on the making of an investment project for the construction (second phase) of Hồ Chí Minh Metro Line 2. 

SOEs renovation project for Lạng Sơn okayed

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has approved  a project on re-arrangement of State-owned enterprises for the 2011-2015 period in the northern province of Lạng Sơn.
