A Japanese contractor adopted for National Museum of History
VGP – The Government head on July 23 agreed to select Japan’s Nikken Sekkei Ltd to be the contractor in making the planning scheme, investment project, and the design of Việt Nam’s National Museum of History.
Gov’t leaders agree some BT and BOT projects
VGP – The Government chief on July 22 delivered his opinions on assessing and granting the investment certificate to the BT (Building-Transfer) Project on Sewage Treatment Station in Hoàng Mai District, Hà Nội. The Project is invested by Malaysia’s Gamuda Berhad Group.
Gov’t manages all legal cooperation activities with foreign partners

PM makes a decision on State Committee for overseas Vietnamese
VGP – To function as the main implementer and work with ministries, sectors, agencies, organizations and local authorities in enabling overseas Vietnamese to settle and integrate into the hosting countries is one of duties of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (SCOV).
Directing cooperation with Laos and Cambodia
VGP - In a recent decision, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng set up a sub-committee to boost economic, cultural, scientific and technological cooperation with Laos and Cambodia.
PM ratifies some foreign-funded projects
VGP - PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng agreed on July 14 to add the Project "Enhancing community-based malaria control focusing on high-risk groups, and increasing capacity and stability of the National Malaria Control Program" to the official portfolio funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
PM orders to accelerate administrative procedures simplification
VGP - PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on July 11 urged leaders of ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and provincial-level People’s Committees to seriously realize the Project on simplifying administrative formalities in all State management aspects, stage 2007-2010 (Project 30) in line with the approved plan.

VGP - PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on July 10 ratified two projects funded by the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).
Pacts on educational cooperation okayed
VGP – The PM approved on July 10 two agreements between the Vietnamese and Angolan governments on educational cooperation and on tertiary education and personnel training. Both agreements were inked on April 30, 2008 in Hà Nội.
